On May 18, the music-loving crowds will gather once again at Brookside at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the fourth edition of Goldenvoice’s Just Like Heaven Festival. It's a single-day musical affair that promises a throwback to some beloved indie and electro dance vibes.

Top Billing Goes to Renowned Indie Bands

The festival's headlining honors go to The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie, both of which are marking two decades since their influential albums 'Give Up' and 'Transatlanticism.' In celebration of the 20th anniversary, audiences can anticipate hearing both albums played live in their entirety. Sharing the spotlight is Phoenix, the French indie pop band that's been crafting irresistible tunes for years. Furthermore, an impressive assortment of artists, such as The War on Drugs, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, Alvvays, and Two Door Cinema Club, are set to perform. The lineup also features Phantogram, Metric, Gossip, Tegan and Sara, Washed Out, each adding their unique sound to the festival's diverse mix.

More Than Just a Concert

In addition to the music, the event will resonate with dance rhythms hosted by A Club Called Rhonda, stemming from the iconic Los Angeles party scene. For those eager to secure their spot, tickets go live with various tiers; general admission starts at $159, VIP passes at $379, and clubhouse packages beginning at $659.

Capitalizing on recent performance success, The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie announced further tour dates, hinting that fans at Just Like Heaven are in for a memorable live music experience. Ben Gibbard, frontman for both bands, expressed excitement about the festival spotlighting the 20th anniversaries of their seminal works.

Previous editions of Just Like Heaven have welcomed iconic performances, including acts like Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Future Islands, M83, and Empire of the Sun, setting a high bar for this year’s event.
