Festival La Onda: Napa's New Latin Music Extravaganza

Published November 29, 2023

The highly anticipated BottleRock Napa Valley music festival is set to take a new turn by launching a large-scale Latin music event named Festival La Onda. This new festival is scheduled to debut in Napa in 2024, precisely one week after the BottleRock festival concludes.

Festival La Onda's Inauguration

Mark your calendars for June 1-2, as the inaugural Festival La Onda By BottleRock unveils its vibrant Latin tunes at the Napa Valley Expo. The event endeavors to become a yearly highlight, featuring a wide spectrum of Latin music genres.

La Onda, meaning 'The Wave', signifies a cool and happening trend, and that's exactly what the festival promoters are aiming for. Northern California, despite its diverse demographic, has lacked a major Latin festival, a gap that Festival La Onda is eager to fill.

A Glimpse into the Latin Music Scene

Latin music's surge in global popularity is undeniable with artists like Bad Bunny, J Balvin, and Karol G at the forefront of the music scene. The live performances of these stars witness massive turnouts, evidencing the genre's widespread appeal. Bad Bunny, for instance, topped global touring revenue and streaming platforms in 2022.

The organizers have announced that they will reveal the lineup for Festival La Onda on December 4 at 8 a.m. Prospective attendees can anticipate a diverse array of Latin musical acts ranging from regional Mexican to reggaetón and beyond.

Festival Amenities and Experience

In addition to stellar musical acts, Festival La Onda aims to replicate BottleRock's renowned high-end festival experience. The event will offer gourmet Latin cuisine, specialty drinks, and immersive cultural activities set amid the iconic Napa Valley hospitality.

The festival will maximize savings and efficiency by reusing the stages and infrastructure from the preceding BottleRock festival, much like how Stagecoach follows Coachella in Southern California.

Get Your Tickets

Eager fans can claim their spot at this exciting event when tickets go on sale December 8 at 10 a.m. Additional ticket information will be released soon.

La Onda is set to bring a wave of Latin music and culture to Northern California's festival landscape, promising an event that's not just about music but also about community, diversity, and celebration.
