Los Angeles is gearing up for a spectacular New Year's Eve celebration, set to be the largest free event on the West Coast. The end-of-year festivities will take place at Gloria Molina Grand Park on Sunday, offering attendees a rich tapestry of global music artists and an exclusive all-female DJ lineup.

Cultural Extravaganza Begins at 8 PM

Fans of diverse music genres will find delight in the NYELA event at Gloria Molina Grand Park starting at 8 p.m. Spanning across six blocks, the park will be the epicenter of cultural vibrancy and joyous rhythms.

Diverse Performances on the Countdown Stage

The excitement kicks off with La Verdad on the Countdown Stage, bringing salsa funk, boogaloo, and cumbia sounds, accompanied by a dazzling performance from salsa dancer Stephanie Stevenson, also known as "The Princess of Salsa." Following this, attendees will be treated to La Doña's distinct reggaeton melodies. The night's grand finale will showcase Extra Ancestral's fusion of afrobeat, jazz, reggaeton, and African dance, culminating in a captivating countdown-to-midnight show.

The Get Down Stage Showcases Female DJ Talent

At The Get Down Stage, the night will be animated by the talents of female DJs. Hosted by Carolina Marquez from CALI 93.9, the lineup includes the Latin Vinyl sounds of DJ Linda Nuves and the energetic baile funk of DJ duo Mango & Ginger. ERICALANDIA will keep the party going with electronic dance music leading up to and after the midnight countdown.

More Than Entertainment

Besides music, the celebration offers art installations by Cassandra Carrillo, playful activities from PlayLA, and an array of gourmet food truck offerings. While alcohol is not allowed on-site, revelers can savor "light bites" and desserts throughout the evening.

Transportation and Park Entry

With parking available for a fee, attendees are encouraged to utilize free public transportation options provided by Metro from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Four designated entrances will welcome guests into Grand Park, ensuring a smooth entry for everyone.

Alternative Celebrations

West Hollywood is also hosting a non-alcoholic New Year's Eve celebration at Plummer Park's Fiesta Hall, offering another space for inclusive and safe festivities.
