The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, a highly anticipated musical extravaganza, is elevating its star quotient with an impressive lineup joining The Rolling Stones as headliners. Notable artists such as country music star Chris Stapleton, rock legends Foo Fighters, entertainment icon Queen Latifah, and New Orleans' pride Jon Batiste will be gracing the festival stages. The event is renowned not just for its jazz but for celebrating a wide array of music genres, and this year's roster underscores that tradition.

Festival Dates and Expanded Lineup

The 2024 iteration of the Jazz Fest will span over two consecutive weekends, commencing on April 25th and culminating on May 5th. Fans are set to witness an array of performances from other musical talents, including Hozier, The Killers, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Bonnie Raitt, Earth, Wind & Fire, and many more. The eclectic mix ensures that there's something for everyone, from rock and soul to R&B and jazz.

Tributes and Celebrations

In an emotional homage, the late Jimmy Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band will be honored, celebrating his legacy in music. Moreover, to showcase the rich tapestry of world music, the festival's Cultural Exchange Pavilion will highlight Colombian heritage this year. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy an assortment of Colombian performances, encompassing genres ranging from salsa to champeta, deepening their musical and cultural experience.

Special Announcements

Previously, the festival announced The Rolling Stones as its headline act for May 2nd, coinciding with their North American tour. To accommodate the influx of local and international fans, and maintain local traditions, the festival has added an extra day. Notably, April 25th will be dedicated to Louisiana residents with special ticket pricing. The festival continues to strive for inclusivity and diversity in its programming and audience outreach.
