Lucky Punks! Festival to Feature Bad Religion and Dead Kennedys
For punk rock and craft beer enthusiasts, the Lucky Punks! Festival is set to deliver an exciting St. Patrick's Day celebration in Silverado, California. This one-day festival will take place at Oak Canyon Park on Saturday, March 15.
The festival will boast two stages, ensuring that there will be no overlapping performances. Headlining the event are the iconic punk bands Bad Religion and Dead Kennedys. In addition to these headliners, attendees can enjoy performances by The Aquabats, Lagwagon, Street Dogs—who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Back to the World—as well as The Defiant, The Briggs, Pulley, and Hoist the Colors.
Tickets for this all-ages event are priced at $54.99 for general admission and $149.99 for VIP access, available at punkinthepark.com. Guests over the age of 21 can take advantage of a special craft beer tasting experience, available for an extra $15. This tasting will feature a diverse selection of local breweries.
Food will also be accessible at the festival, with a variety of options provided by local food trucks and vendors, including vegan choices to cater to all dietary preferences.
This year marks a continuation of Brew Ha Ha Productions' partnership with Punk in the Park to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Earlier in March, they collaborated with Flogging Molly for the inaugural Shamrock Rebellion festival, which also took place at Oak Canyon Park and featured an impressive lineup. The previous Punk in the Park festival debut in Orange County faced delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic but eventually kicked off in November 2021. The initial lineup featured well-known bands like Pennywise and NOFX, and the festival is typically held annually in November.
In November of last year, the Punk in the Park event featured top acts including Pennywise and Descendents, along with a thrilling Vans Vert Ramp showcasing professional skaters and BMX riders. The festival also ventured to the Ventura Fairgrounds in March 2023 for a day-long event that featured well-known bands such as Pennywise and Suicidal Tendencies.
Continuing in its commitment to punk music and culture, Brew Ha Ha Productions recently partnered with the Punk in Drublic Craft Beer & Music Festival for the final shows of the iconic punk band NOFX. These shows took place at San Pedro's Berth 46 in October.
