Special tributes were paid, with the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award being awarded to Chip Sutherland for his contributions to the music industry. Feist and The Swinging Belles Among Seasoned Winners

Seasoned Nova Scotia-born artist Feist proudly took home her fourteenth JUNO Award for Adult Alternative Album of the Year Presented by Long & McQuade Musical Instruments, while The Swinging Belles were honored with Children's Album of the Year.
