Nine Inch Nails to Headline the Kia Forum in September
After a three-year hiatus from live performances, Nine Inch Nails is set to return with an exciting tour across Europe and North America.
The upcoming "Peel It Back Tour" will start in Ireland and make its way through various countries, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain, and Austria. The tour will conclude with a performance at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on Thursday, September 18.
Tickets for this highly anticipated tour will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, January 29, at noon via nin.com.
Nine Inch Nails was formed in 1989 by the talented singer-songwriter and producer Trent Reznor. Over the years, the band has taken several breaks between albums, with Reznor remaining the sole consistent member. In 2016, he partnered with Atticus Ross, a longtime collaborator known for his work as a programmer and producer. Reznor and Ross have a history of collaboration dating back to Reznor's side project, Tapeworm, which was active until 2004. In 2020, they were honored with induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Nine Inch Nails.
In addition to their work with Nine Inch Nails, Reznor and Ross have also gained recognition for their film scores. Their recent projects include scoring for the A24 film "Queer." They have received numerous accolades, such as the Academy Award for Best Original Score for "The Social Network" in 2010, the Grammy Award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" in 2013, and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for "Challengers."
At the D23 fan event last year in Anaheim, Disney announced that Nine Inch Nails would be composing the score for the upcoming film "Tron: Ares." This project marks the first score attributed to the band and will feature new original songs since their last album release in 2020.
