“He’s a big reason why I waited so long to get married and why I met my amazing husband,” she explained, emphasizing that she had felt under a sort of “singer’s curse” when it comes to finding an honest partner outside the music industry.

The pop star described her journey to love as challenging, sharing, “It’s super nerve-wracking to hold on to an innocent perception of how things could go when you’re in an industry where maybe your values and your morals don’t quite match up with what’s going on.”

She continued, stating that some may think she lacks morals due to her career, saying, “Especially when people think you probably don’t have any morals or values.”
