Zach Bryan Hints At Touring Hiatus Amid Controversy

Published November 9, 2024

Zach Bryan may be considering stepping away from the touring scene. Recently, the artist, known for his reflective songwriting, shared a heartfelt post on his official Instagram, which hinted at a potential break from performing live.

In his post, Bryan talked about a personal experience that led him to reflect on his career. He mentioned visiting his mother’s grave in Oklahoma after being away for a year and a half. He expressed feelings of loss and noted, "she never would call me again." He added, "I quit touring because I got accepted to get my masters in Paris next year," suggesting a significant change in his life.

While Bryan's words were not a definitive announcement of quitting music altogether, they have sparked concern among fans, especially following emotional abuse allegations made by his ex-girlfriend. Many feel that the timing of these allegations adds weight to his suggestion of stepping back from the stage.

To address fans’ worries, Zach Bryan later clarified that he would complete his current tour, titled The Quittin Time Tour, which includes 17 remaining shows across North America. He reassured attendees that he committed to finishing these performances, alleviating some anxiety about his immediate future in touring.
