Billy Joel Concert Postponed for Milwaukee Fans

MILWAUKEE — Billy Joel fans will need to wait a little longer to hear the beloved Piano Man perform live in Milwaukee.

In an announcement made on his Instagram, Joel informed his followers that his upcoming concert tour has been delayed by four months due to his recovery from a recent surgery. He is currently undergoing physical therapy and is expected to make a full recovery soon.

The rescheduled tour is anticipated to resume on July 5. However, there is currently no specific date announced for the rescheduled concert in Milwaukee.

This concert was particularly anticipated as it would mark Joel’s return to Milwaukee, following his electrifying performance at Miller Park in 2019. Additionally, it was set to be a special one-night-only concert experience featuring legendary singer/songwriter Sting, who has not performed in Milwaukee since 2016.

Fans are understandably disappointed, but they remain hopeful for Joel's speedy recovery and look forward to the rescheduled concert date.
