The B-52s to Headline the Mosswood Meltdown Festival in the Bay Area

The Mosswood Meltdown returns to Oakland's Mosswood Park this summer with an iconic lineup that is sure to excite music fans. On July 6th and 7th, festival-goers will be treated to a range of musical talents with the B-52s, celebrated new wave pioneers, headlining the event. The band, famous for their infectious dance hits, will be performing in a rare appearance since ending their touring schedule and beginning a Las Vegas residency in 2023.

A Diverse Musical Ensemble

Joining the B-52s in this stellar lineup are various artists representing multiple genres. Fans can expect to see performances by Big Freedia, known for her New Orleans-based bounce music, the alternative rock band Redd Kross, and the post-punk group Bush Tetras. Additionally, the festival will host an eclectic mix of acts including Hunx & His Punx, Pure Hell, Gibby Haynes and the Paul Green Rock Academy, and Cher Strauberry's new project WIFEY.
