Post Malone Makes a Mark in Country Music at Nashville's Big Bash

Published January 1, 2025

Post Malone, known for his success in the music industry, has recently made waves as he transitions into country music. This year, he made his official country music debut with the album F-1 Trillion, collaborating with some of the most prominent artists in the genre. The deluxe edition of the album showcased traditional country sounds, reflecting his appreciation for the genre's roots. His appearance on New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash was a testament to his dedication to this style of music.

Initially, there were skeptics who questioned Malone's sincerity in venturing into country music. Some believed he was merely chasing trends. However, his consistent effort and passion for the genre have since silenced these doubts. During Music City’s popular New Year’s Eve celebration, he proved once again that he is committed to the country music scene.

Rather than performing on the main stage at Bicentennial Park, Malone chose to showcase his talent at Robert’s Western World. There, he delivered a powerful rendition of his hit song “I Had Some Help,” which originally features Morgan Wallen. His ability to engage a country audience without any guest artists highlighted his skill and readiness.

2024 Was a Huge Year for Post Malone

This past year has been monumental for both Post Malone and the country music genre. He made significant contributions to its growth, having released popular singles and a successful album. Additionally, he was honored to be the sole guest artist on a recent album by country legend Dwight Yoakam.

Malone achieved remarkable success on the charts in 2024. His singles “I Had Some Help” and “Pour Me a Drink,” the latter featuring Blake Shelton, became major hits. “I Had Some Help” topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart for four weeks and dominated the Hot Country Songs chart for seven weeks, even reaching the all-genre Hot 100, where it remained for six weeks.

“Pour Me a Drink” also performed well, landing at No. 12 on the Hot 100 and No. 3 on the Hot Country Songs chart. This track enjoyed three weeks at the top of the Country Airplay chart.

Malone's collaboration with Taylor Swift on her single “Fortnight” further showcased his versatility, as the song topped the Hot 100 for two weeks.

While he hasn't revealed any new music plans for 2025 yet, fans are excited about his upcoming Big Ass Stadium Tour, where he will join Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell, kicking off in April.
