Oscar Winners and Losers Celebrate Together at After-Parties
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Oscar winners and losers came together to celebrate at various post-show parties throughout the Los Angeles area. One of the most notable events was the Vanity Fair party, where Timothée Chalamet, who lost the best actor award to Adrien Brody, kept a cheerful demeanor as he entered the bash. Inside the party, he was surrounded by friends and family, enjoying himself amidst the festive atmosphere with lots of laughter and dancing.
Timothée Chalamet's Positive Vibe
Although he did not take home the award, Chalamet was all smiles, mingling with guests and enjoying the celebrations. He had recently changed from his bright yellow tuxedo to a classic white shirt and black suit. He was greeted by hugs from his girlfriend's sisters, Kim and Kendall Jenner, who had been waiting for him after the ceremony.
Chris Rock was also present and humorously expressed his outrage that Chalamet did not win, calling it a robbery as they posed for a picture together. Chalamet, ever the optimist, was excited about his upcoming film, saying he would be playing ping pong instead of singing folk songs in his next project.
Governors Ball: A Must-Visit for Winners
The Governors Ball served as a first stop for the newly minted Oscar winners, where they had their statuettes engraved. This event is located just a short distance from the Dolby Theatre. Zoe Saldaña, who won the Oscar for best supporting actress in "Emilia Pérez," was seen proudly having her Oscar engraved and was in a joyful mood, dancing while waiting.
As the evening progressed, winners from the film "Anora," including director Sean Baker, who tied the record with four Oscars, gathered to celebrate. Best actor winner Adrien Brody was among those enjoying the festivities, being celebrated by friends and fans alike.
Vanity Fair Party: The Grand Finale
The Vanity Fair party is often regarded as the last major event of the night, hosted by the magazine's editor Radhika Jones. This year, the party featured a vibrant 1970s theme complete with gold carpets and a disco ball, making it a luxurious setting for the attendees.
Mick Jagger was seen at an initial dinner, left briefly to present an Oscar, then returned to enjoy the lively atmosphere. Saldaña was spotted holding her freshly engraved Oscar, mingling with other stars, including costume design winner Paul Tazewell.
Elton John's Annual Celebration
Another highlight of Oscar weekend was the annual party hosted by Elton John, known for its spectacular performances. This year, rising pop star Chappell Roan delivered an energetic performance that got the crowd excited. She sang her popular songs like "Hot to Go" and brought Elton John on stage for duets including "Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me." The annual event is also a fundraiser for the Elton John AIDS Foundation and took place in beautiful white tents.
Young Stars Celebrate Together
At the Vanity Fair party, young stars were seen enjoying the evenings together, including Olivia Rodrigo and her boyfriend Louis Partridge. The ambiance was filled with playful interactions and laughter as notable newcomers mingled with established stars. Even the valet section was filled with excitement as celebrities departed, with some like Andrew Garfield seen leaving with his rumored love interest, Monica Barbaro.
