Lisa Debuts Alter Ego in ‘FUTW’ Video Inspired by ‘League of Legends’

Published February 28, 2025

K-pop star Lisa has released her much-anticipated debut solo album, Alter Ego. The album features her latest music video for the track "FUTW," which stands for "F*ck Up The World." This song showcases one of her main alter egos from the album, named Vixi. The character Vixi is depicted as bold and fierce, drawing inspiration from characters like DC Comics’ Harley Quinn and League Of Legends/Arcane’s Jinx.

The music video is set in a mental institution, where Lisa, as Vixi, breaks free and creates chaos. The storyline presents her embarking on a rampage throughout the city. Additionally, the video provides animated glimpses of Lisa's other alter egos, which will be further detailed in an upcoming comic book inspired by the album. These characters reflect the themes explored in her earlier singles, including the sweet "Moonlit Floor," the daring "Born Again," and the flirty "New Woman."

This album release comes during an exciting time for the Blackpink rapper, who is set to appear on American television, performing both as herself and in her role for White Lotus at the Oscars this Sunday.
