The Truth Behind Jade Thirlwall's Music Manager Husband at the BRITs
The truth behind Jade Thirlwall's 'music manager husband' has been revealed after they turned heads on the BRITs red carpet together on Saturday night.
The 32-year-old former Little Mix star made a statement in a striking denim wedding dress and was accompanied by a towering figure in a white suit who loomed behind her at the event.
Jade brought along Srbo Markovic to play her "groom." He wore a fat suit and large prosthetic gloves underneath his white suit to portray the image of a giant.
This costume was a clever reference to Jade's music video for her debut single, "Angel of My Dreams," where Srbo portrayed a menacing giant figure symbolizing a controlling music manager.
Although he is an impressive 6' 10" tall, Srbo looks remarkably different in real life, as seen on his Instagram profile, where he shares pictures without the face prosthetics and bulky attire.
"Angel of My Dreams" offers a critical perspective on the music industry, with many fans speculating that it contains digs at Simon Cowell, who played a significant role in their rise to fame through The X Factor.
The song's lyrics include references to selling one's "soul to a psycho," with many believing it alludes to Simon's record label, SyCo. In the video, Jade sings about material possessions while marrying a giant figure, stating, "Got you a car, got you a house / Got you a suit, it's Gucci / If I don't win, I'm in the bin."
According to his IMDB page, Srbo has a background in stunts and has appeared in several TV shows and films, including "The Informer," "Ghosted," and "EastEnders." Notably, this marked his debut in a music video.
On his Instagram, Srbo shared a picture of himself with Jade at the BRITs, captioning it, "B R I T A W A R D S 2 0 2 5 @jadethirlwall." He also frequently shares glimpses of his family life, including photos of his wife and son.
On that exciting night, Jade was awarded Best Pop Act, marking her first solo BRIT award as a former member of Little Mix.
During her heartfelt acceptance speech, Jade expressed gratitude towards her boyfriend, Jordan Stephens, and her "Little Mix sisters," Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.
She emotionally declared, "I love you so much. I wouldn't have this award without them. They changed my life, and I am so grateful."
Jade quickly went viral after her chaotic acceptance where she struggled with her dress as she climbed the stage. She needed assistance from presenters The Sugababes after getting stuck.
As she arrived on stage, the singer gasped in surprise and made her way forward, albeit slowly due to the large train of her denim gown.
Pulling a folded piece of paper from her dress, she shared, "Oh my God! This is my first solo BRIT Award! I can't cry because I've got to sing later, but I did do a little piece of paper in case I won. I know it's cringe, but I knew I'd forget people. I'm flustered."
Jade thanked her fans, saying, "I need to thank the fans because that's why I've won. Thank you for supporting me and relentlessly urging everyone around you to vote for me, I really appreciate it."
She also thanked her "fabulous team" and declared her family as her strongest supporters, adding, "My partner Jordan, my mum, dad, brother, and all my family and friends for always believing in me."
In her speech, Jade made a touching tribute to her former bandmates from Little Mix, highlighting her appreciation for their influence on her career.
As she finished her speech, she expressed, "Finally, my Little Mix sisters, I love you so much. I wouldn't have this award without them. They changed my life, and I am so grateful."
The 2025 BRIT Awards were hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, marking his fifth time in this role, having previously hosted the event in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
