Kanye West Teases 'Vultures' Listening Event with Hefty Ticket Prices

Published February 8, 2024

Last week, the artist known as Ye (formerly Kanye West) surprised fans by joining Travis Scott on stage during the Utopia — Circus Maximus Tour. Alongside Bump and Ty Dolla Sign, Ye performed 'Vultures', the leading song from the much-anticipated collaborative project with Ty Dolla Sign. This album is now set to be a three-part series, titled 'Vultures Vol. 1'.

Anticipated Release of 'Vultures'

Ye's ventures are known for their unique launch strategies, and 'Vultures' has been no exception. After pushing back the release date multiple times, it appears the series is finally on track. The first volume is expected to drop on Friday, February 9, with the subsequent installments following on March 8 and April 5. To build excitement, several listening events are scheduled, aligning with these release dates.

Exclusive Listening Events

A listening event scheduled at Chicago's United Center reportedly sold out in seven minutes for Thursday, February 8. Following this, Ye announced another event taking place at UBS Arena in New York on February 9, through an Instagram Story post. UBS Arena confirmed this, detailing an album release party and listening session for 'Vultures, Volume 1'. The event promises an immersive audio-visual experience with both artists present, alongside special guests and collaborators. Despite the inaugural air, ticket prices start steep, at $140, potentially narrowing down the audience to the most dedicated fans of Ye and Ty Dolla Sign.
