Ed Sheeran’s ‘Mathematical Tour’ to Perform in Bhutan

Global superstar Ed Sheeran has revealed an exciting addition to his Mathematical Tour (+–=÷x) 2025, marking his largest concert series to date. The highly anticipated concert is scheduled for January 24, 2025, at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, Bhutan.
This concert is significant as it will be the first time that the English singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer performs in Bhutan.
The venue can accommodate over 25,000 fans, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for attendees. Ticket sales for this event will begin today, available exclusively online at www.tix.bt starting at 12:00 noon.
For Bhutanese citizens, it is essential to update their Bhutan app and utilize their Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Cards to purchase tickets. International guests can purchase tickets via email but must arrange for visas (costing USD 40) and pay the country’s sustainable development fee of USD 100 per night. Tickets for Indian citizens are priced at INR 1,200.
Ticket prices will vary, ranging from USD 10 (Nu 860) to USD 101 (Nu 8,600), depending on seating selections. Each buyer can purchase up to six tickets.
Ed Sheeran, who is 33 years old, is celebrated for his unique blend of music across genres, including folk, rock, pop, and hip-hop. With nearly 200 million records sold worldwide, he stands as a defining artist of his era. Notably, he has been recognized in Spotify’s Billions Club for an impressive 12 songs, including his breakout hit “The A Team,” which recently crossed one billion streams.
The Mathematical Tour commenced in 2022 and has already featured more than 134 performances across the globe, showcasing his extensive catalog of music.
The upcoming show in Bhutan will include songs from his popular albums, such as Plus, Multiply, Divide, Equals, and his latest album, Subtract.
Following his concert in Bhutan, Ed Sheeran has expressed a desire to collaborate with local Bhutanese artists.
The 2025 Mathematical Tour will extend to various countries, including India, with stops in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Delhi, as well as stops in Qatar (Doha) and Bahrain (Sakhir).
This major concert event in Bhutan is being organized by Gelephu Mindfulness City and AEG Presents, in collaboration with One Fiinix Live.
