Owen Wilson Joins Travis Scott for a Surprise Performance at Rolling Loud Miami
The Rolling Loud festival in Miami saw an unexpected guest when actor Owen Wilson took the stage alongside rap superstar Travis Scott. This surprise appearance happened during Scott's headline performance on Saturday night, December 14.
At 56 years old, Wilson was welcomed onstage by Scott, who leaned in to share a few words with him. The crowd erupted in cheers as Wilson grabbed a microphone and shouted, "I’M FEINING FOR MORE!" This lively moment kicked off the performance of Scott's track "FE!N," a song featured on his fourth album titled Utopia. The term "feining" is slang for having a strong craving.
Throughout the performance, Wilson appeared to be fully engaged, seen bouncing and raising his fists in excitement, as captured by fans in the audience.
Prior to his performance, it was reported that Wilson was at the festival to film scenes for an upcoming comedy movie, also titled Rolling Loud. This film will feature Wilson alongside comedian Matt Rife and is based on a loosely true story about an overprotective father played by Wilson, who sneaks his 13-year-old son into a hip-hop festival, leading to a wildly chaotic adventure.
It remains unclear if Wilson's surprise performance with Scott will be included in the final cut of the film.
The Rolling Loud festival is being held at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium and is being livestreamed for free, allowing fans who couldn't attend in person to enjoy the action online.
Key performances from the festival can be watched on platforms like Amazon Music's Twitch channel and Rolling Loud's Twitch channel, as well as on Prime Video. The festival kicked off with a lineup that included Future headlining Friday's events, alongside performances from Tyga, Rick Ross, and Trippie Redd.
Scott's performance on Saturday was part of a day that also featured acts like Veeze, Lucki, Lil Tijay, and Kodak Black. Looking ahead, Sunday’s performers include well-known names like Maxo Kream, Lil Baby, and Bryson Tiller.
Rolling Loud has made a name for itself by featuring major artist appearances. In a recent California event, Justin Bieber surprised fans during Don Toliver's set, performing the song "Private Landing." Toliver also brought out surprise guests like James Blake and Kali Uchis during his performance.
