Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre Release New Album 'Missionary'
Renowned rappers Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have come together to release their latest album titled Missionary. The album debuted on Friday and features an impressive total of 16 tracks.
This album includes collaborations with various artists, enhancing its diversity and appeal. Among the guest artists featured in Missionary are BJ The Chicago Kid, Alus, Jhené Aiko, Tom Petty, Jelly Roll, K.A.A.N., Sting, Method Man, Smitty, Cocoa Sarai, Eminem, Dem Jointz, Stalone, and Fat Money.
Dr. Dre shared insights about the collaboration in an interview, stating, "Something about the synergy that me and Snoop have is really interesting. We have Sting on a song, we have, man, it's an amazing roster of artists that's on this album." This release marks a significant moment, as it celebrates three decades of collaboration between the two artists.
Interestingly, Dr. Dre revealed that he had previously only produced one album for Snoop, which was the iconic Doggystyle. He expressed pride in taking the reins for an entire album for the first time with this project, saying, "We've done a lot of things in between and songs and performances and film and things of that nature but this is my first time actually producing an entire album on him."
