Mataelang Productions: Dua Lipa's Team Dissatisfied with Standards

Jakarta - The concert organizer for Dua Lipa, Mataelang Productions, has addressed the cancellation of Dua Lipa's concert planned for Jakarta, which was scheduled for today, Saturday (November 9, 2024). Mataelang Productions indicates that Dua Lipa's team was not satisfied with the standards set.

"We from Mataelang Productions want to clarify the cancellation of Dua Lipa's ‘Radical Optimism Tour’ concert in Jakarta, which was to take place on November 9, 2024, at the Indonesia Arena," said Mataelang Productions on their Instagram account on Saturday (November 9, 2024).

According to them, the stage preparations needed for every artist, whether local or international, are done with high professionalism and dedication to meet the production needs according to international safety standards.

"For this concert, we completed the stage preparations by November 6, 2024. We even received a structural safety certificate specifically for this event from a certified structural engineer who is experienced in handling large-scale international events in Indonesia, which states that the stage is safe for use," they explained.

"Despite this, the Dua Lipa tour team still felt that our work did not meet their standards," they clarified.

Nevertheless, Mataelang Productions respects the decision made by Dua Lipa and her team.

"We respect this decision and apologize for any inconvenience felt by fans and related parties. We will continue to commit to providing the best service in future opportunities," they concluded.
