Just Like Heaven 2025: Rilo Kiley, Vampire Weekend, and More Festival Highlights
The Just Like Heaven Festival is set to take place on May 10, 2025, with Vampire Weekend as the headliner on the main stage. However, for many fans, the event will be made even more special with the coheadline reunion of Rilo Kiley, marking their first live performance in over 15 years.
Rilo Kiley is fronted by the talented singer-guitarist Jenny Lewis, who headlined the festival last year during a reunion with the Postal Service. Excitement is high among the band members as they prepare to return to Los Angeles, where they originally formed. They expressed their gratitude stating, "We are so very excited to come back together for Just Like Heaven in Pasadena, California — Los Angeles. As a band, we began here, and we feel so fortunate to return among so many artists and friends, to this community we hold so dear, in such a beautiful and meaningful place."
Alongside Rilo Kiley and Vampire Weekend, the festival's lineup features many indie music favorites. Attendees can look forward to performances by Empire of the Sun, TV On The Radio, the Drums, Toro y Moi, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Grouplove, Perfume Genius, the Sounds, Panda Bear, and Beach Fossils.
Notably, Slowdive will be performing as “very special guests.” Additionally, several well-known bands are marking significant anniversaries. These include Bloc Party celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album "Silent Alarm" and Peter Bjorn and John celebrating the same anniversary for "Writer's Block." Courtney Barnett will also join the lineup to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her album "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit."
The festival is also mindful of the recent Southern California wildfires, which have affected many in the region. Members of TV on the Radio shared their support, saying, "We are looking forward to playing in Pasadena with so many friends in May. With L.A. still experiencing these devastating fires, we are sending our love and support to all those in the Altadena and Palisades area who have been affected by the catastrophic fires. We love you, L.A."
Contributing to the relief efforts, Goldenvoice, the company behind Pasadena events, has donated $250,000 to assist those impacted by the Eaton Fire, which tragically claimed lives and caused significant destruction. Moreover, first responders verified through GOVX.com can receive up to two general admission passes for the festival while supplies last.
Tickets for Just Like Heaven Festival will go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 31, through JustLikeHeavenfest.com. General admission passes start at $175 plus fees, while VIP passes begin at $399 plus fees. For a premium experience, Clubhouse passes are available for $649 plus fees. Ticket buyers are encouraged to take advantage of payment plans that will be offered for a limited time.
In a change aimed at families, the festival has updated its policy on free child admissions, allowing children aged 10 and under to enter without a ticket when accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian. This is an increase from the previous age limit of five years old.
