Glastonbury 2025 Lineup Features The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo

Published March 6, 2025

The lineup for Glastonbury 2025 has been officially revealed, featuring British rock band The 1975 and US pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo making their debuts as headliners alongside legendary artist Neil Young.

In addition to the headliners, the festival will showcase a variety of talented acts including Brit Award-winning and Grammy-nominated star Charli XCX, singer RAYE, and Grammy-winning rapper Doechii. British hip-hop artist Loyle Carner, Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, and rapper Busta Rhymes will also be part of the impressive lineup.

Last year, it was announced that Rod Stewart will fill the Sunday teatime Legends Slot on the Pyramid Stage.

The 1975, led by frontman Matty Healy, will take the Pyramid Stage on Friday as their first time headlining the festival. They have previously performed at Glastonbury three times, in 2014 and 2016. Healy has been a controversial figure in UK music, often stirring up discussions for his outspoken comments.

Recently, The 1975 faced legal challenges after an incident at the Good Vibes Festival in Malaysia, which led to the festival's cancellation following a protest by Healy against the country’s anti-LGBT laws.

Olivia Rodrigo, known for her strong connection with fans from her previous appearance in 2022, will headline the Sunday night slot on the Pyramid Stage. This makes her the second-youngest headliner in Glastonbury's history, after Billie Eilish, who had previously held the title.

Rodrigo is also set to headline the British Summer Time festival in London just before taking the stage at Glastonbury.

Neil Young's return as a headliner on Saturday comes after a brief misunderstanding where he announced he would withdraw from the festival due to concerns over its management. However, he later confirmed his performance.

Pop-soul artist RAYE, who has gained significant attention after her Grammy wins and as an independent artist, will perform before Young’s set on the Pyramid Stage.

Charli XCX will lead the Other Stage on Saturday, following her well-received DJ set at the previous year's festival.

The festival promises a mix of established and new talents, with other acts ranging from electronic innovators The Prodigy to Canadian artist Alanis Morissette and rock band The Libertines. Emerging stars also include viral sensation Shaboozey and pop singer Gracie Abrams.

Returning favorites like Wolf Alice, Wet Leg, Fatboy Slim, and Scissor Sisters will also grace the stages.

More artists are expected to be announced in the coming months, including breakout stars touted for 2024. The festival's ticket resale is planned for spring, giving fans one last chance to grab their spot before the event.

Glastonbury 2025 will take place from June 25 to June 29, the last festival before its traditional fallow year, allowing the farmland and its workers to recover.
