Cali Vibes Festival Day Two: A Showcase of Music and Gastronomy in Long Beach

Published February 18, 2024

The Cali Vibes Festival's second day brought an exciting blend of reggae, rock, and hip-hop to Marina Green Park in Long Beach. As massive crowds gathered, the event showcased a dazzling array of performances against the charming backdrop of Shoreline Drive.

Star-Studded Performances

Featuring a line-up of beloved musicians, the festival saw performances from headliners like Gwen Stefani, who delivered both her solo hits and classic No Doubt anthems. Slightly Stoopid headlined with a guest-rich set, while Wiz Khalifa energized fans with chart-toppers. Sean Paul also made his mark, and Sublime with Rome gave one of their final performances. The stages were alive with energy from artists such as Mad Caddies, Save Ferris, and The Interrupters, contributing to the festival's vibrant atmosphere.

Gastronomic Delights

Beyond music, Cali Vibes was a celebration of culinary arts, featuring a spread of local and island-inspired dishes. With nearly 40 vendors, highlights included plant-based options from Monty's Good Burger, fusion flavors from Roy Choi's Kogi taco truck, and a variety of chicken dishes - from jerk chicken pizza to fire-roasted Huli Huli chicken - that drew long lines and rave reviews from attendees.

These delectable treats, alongside the outstanding music, underscored the Cali Vibes ethos of delivering a multisensory experience that's uniquely Californian.
